TireDoc vs. AAA

AAA is a trusted name, and its roadside help covers more than towing. But its job is to get you moving again or get your car to a shop. Our job is to repair it where it sits. Here is an honest side-by-side.

AAA roadsideTireDoc
Flat tire
Puts on your spare. If you have no usable spare, it tows you.
Repairs the tire or replaces it on the spot.
Dead battery
Jump start or battery replacement at the roadside.
Jump start or battery replacement where you are parked. Free jump starts for members.
Worn brakes
Not part of its roadside services.
Brake pads, rotors and calipers replaced on site.
Tire rotation and balancing
Not part of its roadside services.
Tire rotation included for members. Installation and balancing on site.
Towing
Yes. Distance depends on your plan.
No. We fix it on site, and we tell you if it needs a shop.
Lockouts and fuel delivery
Yes.
No. Call a locksmith or your roadside plan.
The simple difference: a tow gets your car to a shop, and then you wait. We fix the problem where you are, so you keep your day. Many drivers keep AAA for towing, lockouts and travel perks and add TireDoc for repairs.

AAA details are based on AAA's published roadside information, checked October 2026. Plans and coverage vary by AAA club and membership level, so check with AAA for your plan. AAA is a trademark of its owner. TireDoc Mobile Tire Service is not affiliated with AAA.

Questions

What does the membership cost?

$19.99 per month.

How is this different from AAA?

AAA is a roadside club. It can tow you, put on your spare, jump start or replace a battery, unlock your car and bring fuel. TireDoc is a repair service that comes to you: we repair or replace tires, do brake work and rotate tires on site. Some drivers keep both.

Who goes first when I call?

Members get priority scheduling ahead of non-members.

Can I add another car?

Yes. Each additional car in your household is $14.99 per month, and each car has its own set of member benefits.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Text or call (980) 496-0160. If you cancel within the first 12 months after using member benefits, an early cancellation charge applies, explained in the Membership Terms. If you have not used any member benefit, there is no charge.

Where can I read the full terms?

The full Membership Terms are on this site. Call or text (980) 496-0160 with any question.
